Rivington stays responsible for whether the implementation solves the business problem.
When specialist engineering is required, we work with your technical team or an appropriate implementation partner while maintaining the workflow design, requirements, controls and success criteria.
The people defining the business problem and the people writing the code do not always need to be the same company. Independent implementation can improve rigor: Rivington protects the intended operating outcome while specialist teams build the components required to deliver it.

Ongoing engagement, scoped to the workflow and operating environment.
Workflows drift. Teams change, new exceptions emerge, and the AI systems inside the workflow change underneath it. Once a redesigned workflow is operating, opportunities also become visible that were impossible to see before.
Workflow Performance is a periodic operating review against the measurement plan set in the diagnostic. The point is continuous operating improvement, not generic AI maintenance.

Does the workflow need to already use AI?
No. The diagnostic is appropriate whether the company has already introduced AI, is actively designing an AI-enabled workflow, or is considering automation but suspects the process is not ready.
How much of our team's time does this require?
One 60-minute kickoff, four to six 30-minute stakeholder conversations, one 60-minute working review, and one 60-minute executive readout, plus access to relevant documentation and available performance data.
Is the engagement delivered remotely?
Yes, remote delivery is the default. Travel or unusual data requirements are scoped separately.
Will every finding be quantified?
Friction is quantified where evidence permits. Where data is unavailable, the diagnostic establishes a defensible baseline and measurement plan so improvement can be tracked going forward.
What happens after the diagnostic?
The diagnostic stands on its own, and you are never obligated to continue. Your team can implement the plan, use it to brief an existing provider, or ask Rivington to lead the business implementation while your technical team or an implementation partner performs the specialist engineering. After go-live, Workflow Performance keeps the workflow measured and improving.
Does Rivington write the code?
Rivington owns the workflow design, requirements, controls and success criteria. Where specialist engineering is required, we work with your technical team or an appropriate implementation partner. Keeping the people who define the business problem independent from the people building components tends to improve rigor.
What does it cost?
The AI Workflow Diagnostic is a $9,500 fixed fee covering one workflow over three weeks.
